Fees of university went up in few weeks and many pupils who are loca students against this policy and wreck Prince Chrales' car. In many British palces, demonstratons was holded. However, that donot influence students in Wales.

Bonfire Night

Bonfire Night from several guys who want to murdered the king in the House of Lords and they called themselevs as Guy Fawkes in 1605, so that day also be called Guy Fawkes Night. However, people want to rember these guys, so Bonfire Night came from. And, at 5th Noverber every year, people will make a bonfire and burn guy named Guy Fawkes.During several days, many places will make firework and many people celebrate for this day. Actually, in Pontypridd southern Wales, 7th Nov. had a wonderful firework that I saw it.

With my frident, I went to the park of Pont  and waited for firework. I really hoped the start time of firework can be quickly come, cause that night was too cold and we waited about a half and an hours. Halloween

Halloween is short of All Hallow Even, and this celebration is mainly popular in Britain, Northen of America, and other countries who speak English. In that day, people always make up, wear fancy dress, children knock door and ask" trick or treat?" and want to get sweets.

EU and UK

UK joined EU about 37 years in 1973. Is that all benefits or disadvantages? Actually, I think in the earlier period time, there are more advantages to UK; however, now more negitives exist than before.

In the earlier period, EU bring power to UK and UK develop their economy, then she joined Euro. However, UK had economic depression during that time, if she do not adjust her interest rate, it will had worst results to residents. Therefore, she withdrawed from EU.

Despit, that bring negitive, can not keep out that bring no barriers in trade which is very useful import and export, easy process of travel which is conventent to every residents who live in Europea,

1 Pound

It is very interesting that 1 pound have many different decorative in the back of the coin. Before I had arrived in the UK, I konw UK has very different the method to issue currency that is many banks has right to issue money. However, in that time, I don't konw there are very distinguish between bank and bank.

Actually, in my country, currency just issued by the bak which is authorized by the government. And currency also is the same. And I like to collect them, I found there are more than 10 kinds of 1Pound. However, I don't konw which bank issued them.

Tne Great Fire of London

That was a morning with sunshine, Baker forgot to close stove, so it became a fire. In that century, many building metrail from wood, so when a mistake became a fire, many houses bruned with strong wind, momenturn can not stem. When the fire had begun, did not take meansure to stop the fire. Therefore, about 80% builiding was destoried; however, just 5 persons lost their life.

Although, the fire burned 1300 houses and 88 churches, during pestis speaded in London many rats dead in the fire and plague with the fire dispaered. And many buildings was burned; however, new building metrail from stone and some famous building from this period, such as Greenwich Observatory, St.Paul's Cathedral Hampton Palace.

So the Great Fire of London did not bring all worse thing, there are many postives to every London people.

Small Town- Pontypridd

Although many people do not like this town for their life, there are do not have huge supermarkets, big shopping malls and other things which just can be brought from metropolis. However, I am very glad to live here and finish my degree.

I am just a international student and it is the first time to come overseas, live and study. Actually, in my home country TV sometimes play some programmes to introduce foreign country. And I love these town, there are fill in exotic atsmosphere. I love rivers and mountains, there have; however there do not have many special ancient architectures.
